The Wildfire Watch Filter ingests traffic and wildlife camera installations or aerial surveillance to detect the presence of wildfires. This Filter is donated as a joint public service between Plainsight Technologies, the Washington State Department of Natural Resources, and Washington State Department of Transportation at WildfireWatch.org.
When the frames per second are frequent enough the Filter can offer insights into the potential path of the wildfire, aiding emergency response teams and environmental authorities in making informed decisions. This serves as a crucial tool for monitoring and managing wildfires, contributing to enhanced safety measures and more effective containment strategies.
